  1. What is the process of a typical job?

    1. Initial contact from customer, discussion of work required
    2. Initial visit to job site. Measurements taken
    3. The design process begins. During this phase materials are selected and project scope goes into greater detail. A rough sketch can be provided. If requested we can provide detailed CAD drawings for a fee, a portion of which can be used as a credit towards the job.
    4. We provide you with an itemized, detailed written estimate.
    5. When price is agreed upon the contract is signed we will set a start date for the project and work will commence.


  2. Do you provide free estimates?

    Yes, we would be more than happy to provide you with a free estimate. Once we have agreed on a price we will then provide you with a written detailed contract.

  3. What kind of design services do you offer?

    Our primary design service involves the creation of a ‘concept plan.’ A concept plan is a sketch (usually hand drawn on graph paper) outlining the broad activity areas (lawn, walkway, patio, staircase, garden, etc.) and traffic routes of the area to be landscaped. From this concept plan and after taking a few measurements an estimate can be created (as well as a planting design if need be). This service we offer free of charge. For clients with larger more elaborate projects or those who would like a better graphical presentation of the potential changes to their property we also offer full two dimensional computer aided design (or CAD) service.The fee for our CAD services can be partially recuperated and considered a portion of the deposit should the work be confirmed.

  4. What kind of warranty do you offer?

    We guarantee our hardscape installations against heaving or settling for 1 year for aggregate foundations and 3 years for Ultra base foundations. Some of our plant material has an optional one year replacement guarantee. We warranty sod only if there is an in ground sprinkler system.

  5. Are you insured?

    Yes we are insured. We have a general liability contractor’s policy that carries $2,000,000 liability coverage.

  6. Can you provide references?

    We will happily provide references upon request. We can direct you to homes in your neighbourhood that we have worked on. Also, we can provide a list of satisfied customers that you may contact at your convenience.

  7. Can I order (or arrange delivery for) the materials myself

    We prefer to source all our materials ourselves. We generally prefer to supply the materials ourselves because when we select a product we want to make sure it is the best suited for the particulars of the situation. It takes years of experience to determine this. We have established relationships with our suppliers, we are able to ensure that materials can be picked-up/delivered when we need them.

  8. Will you match a written quote from another company?

    In most cases where we have been underbid for a contract there is a reason for our price being higher. Generally the case is we provide a higher value product to our customer and we would be happy to explain the difference in our bids.

  9. Will you install interlock made by any manufacturer?

    We can install most products, we would be happy to assist you in choosing the right paver for your landscape needs.
